4 Point Insurance Inspection

If completed at the time of the regularly scheduled home inspection, the cost for the 4 point inspection is  -  $50.00

A stand alone 4 Point Insurance Inspection is  -   $125.00

Wind Mitigation Inspection  (OIR-1802)
Fee - $150.00

Thomson Home Inspections, Inc. supplies a Wind Mitigation Inspection (OIR-1802) for the possible use in obtaining a reduction in your wind insurance as a courtesy to you for all single family home inspections.  While I am certified in the State of Florida as an ICC B-1 Building Inspector, there are some insurance companies in the State of Florida that do not recognize my certification with the ICC.

I am also licensed through the State of Florida with the My Safe Florida Home certification to perform the Wind Mitigation Inspection, however I am not permitted to use that license without submitting the inspection to one of the two Wind Certification Companies that the State of Florida has approved.

While I do offer the Wind Mitigation Inspection as a courtesy with my regular Single Family Home inspection, if your insurance company does not accept my report and you still would like to have one performed, I can do the inspection for you at a cost of $150.00.  This fee is paid directly to Ameripro Inspection Services, which is the Wind Inspection company certified by the State of Florida.
